Cameron Diaz is putting her own spin on the double denim trend.

The actor made a rare public appearance at the 2024 BottleRock Music Festival in Napa, where she promoted her organic wine brand Avaline. She looked comfortable in a controversial Canadian tuxedo, doubling up on denim with a pair of high-waisted, baggy jeans and a matching medium wash denim blouse. Her henley-style top featured a deep V with a row of undone buttons.

Diaz accessorized her denim-on-denim look with white sneakers and a stack of gold bangle bracelets. She wore her signature blonde hair down in loose waves with a middle part, and opted for a subtle makeup look with black eyeliner, pink blush, and a matching pink lipstick.

For almost a decade now, the actor’s public outings have been few and far between. Avaline, launched in 2020, has slowly lured her back into the spotlight—but this year, a new film will see her step out for a press tour. Diaz, who took an extended break from acting, is coming out of retirement for Netflix’s Back in Action, hopefully bringing with her many more style moments.

Back in October, she spoke about revisiting acting for the upcoming action flick, starring Jamie Foxx, while making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “It’s a little bit of muscle memory, you know what I mean? I did that for so long, it’s kind of like the process—I just fell back into it,” she said. “But it feels a little bit different.”

She continued, “The last movie I made was Annie with Jamie, and so the first movie back is this film with Jamie. He’s so great, he’s so easy, he’s so professional, he’s so talented. And just being able to work with him, it’ll be so much fun.”
