Savannah Chrisley remains hopeful for her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, to return home from prison, anticipating their potential release by the summer months.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight posted on Thursday, March 14, Savannah, 26, expressed her optimism regarding their upcoming appeal scheduled for April 19. She voiced her desire to have her parents back home, preferably by later in the summer.
Since Todd and Julie’s incarceration in 2023, Savannah has taken on the responsibility of caring for her younger siblings, Grayson, 17, and Chloe, 11, while actively advocating for her parents on social media platforms.
While juggling the duties of raising her siblings and fighting legal battles, Savannah acknowledges the challenges but remains determined to provide a stable life for her family and to secure her parents’ release.
Looking ahead, Savannah aspires to pursue law school, drawing inspiration from Kim Kardashian’s legal advocacy work. She envisions herself following a similar path if her mother, Julie, returns home, emphasizing the importance of pursuing dreams regardless of age.
Todd, 54, and Julie, 51, faced legal troubles stemming from charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud, and conspiracy dating back to 2019. Following a trial, the couple was convicted in June 2022, with Todd receiving a 12-year sentence and Julie a seven-year sentence. Despite maintaining their innocence, they reported to prison in January 2023.
While Todd serves his sentence at FPC Pensacola in Florida and Julie at Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, both have seen reductions in their sentences, with Todd now serving 10 years and Julie serving 5.
Despite the challenges, Todd remains optimistic about their legal prospects, expressing faith in the judicial system and the appellate court to recognize the truth behind their case.
Savannah’s commitment to advocacy has only grown stronger since her parents’ incarceration, as she questions the fairness of their situation and the impact of being in the public eye. Despite the hardships, Savannah’s resolve remains unwavering as she continues to fight for justice for her family.
